Bethany's Youth Fellowship is a group for high school age students who wish to develop close friendships, serve others and learn more about God and the Bible. The YF is involved in many social and service events throughout the year including: planning a Halloween party for the younger children of the church, Christmas caroling at Children's Hospital, making Valentine cookies for the shut-in's of our church, an annual trip to Cedar Point and preparing a meal at a soup kitchen in downtown Akron. The biggest event for the Youth Fellowship though is the annual Youth Mission trip. After year long fundraising, twenty six YF'ers and six adults travel out to Ponca Creek, South Dakota to spend a week running a Bible school for the Native American children there. The Youth Fellowship meets weekly during the school year on Sundays at 9:30a.m. for a Bible study as well as at 6:30p.m. where they have their meetings.
